This time of year for me, means i spend more time on my skin care to make sure my make up looks perfect! After all you need a nice smooth canvas to give yourself a nice smooth base!
So, when October rolls around (yes i know its november now, but since i didn't start my blog last month i thought i would give you an extra blog ) I like to make sure my skin is well cared for and that there is a barrier against the colder winds and weathering.
I start with one of our face washes Illuminate, i use Illuminate clean because i have sensitive skin. Illuminate clear is best if you have acne prone skin.
You only need a pea size amount for the whole of your face, you start off my making your face damp then you apply wither of the skin care product in a circular motion making a small lather, after 2-5 minutes of working the product into your skin or problem areas, rinse off with warm water, then splash cold water on your face and pat dry with a soft towel.
On from there i use our Divine daily moisturiser, you only need a little less than a pea size for the whole of your face. It locks moisture into your skin helping to protect your skin from the harsh winter weather!
(our Divine moisturiser also helps to reduce redness, stretch marks and scars, so is brilliant if you have acne prone skin)
If i just want my skin to look flawless but i don't want to put a tonne of make up on i will just use our BB cream rather than doing the foundation, concealer contour routine. It is very very lightweight and is another moisturiser, so helps further protect your skin from the harsh weather :) (or you could use them both together!)
